Mit „Zeiler Frühling“ geht es fruchtig-frisch in die Biergartensaison. Aufwändige Kalthopfung mit Calypso-Hopfen verleiht dieser unfiltrierten Bierspezialität Aromen, die an Zitrone, Maracuja und Birne erinnern. Unterstrichen werden die Frucht-Noten durch den Einsatz einer Ale Hefe sowie die bei der Heißhopfung eingesetzten Hopfensorten Perle, Aurora und Record.

Amber with a frothy, white head. Orange peel and caramel aroma with a touch of pineapple. Taste is bittersweet with citric undertones. Lingering bitter finish. Chewy and caramel sweet base. An enjoyable treat during our last grilling of the season.

Trübes Gelb, ordentlich Perlung und Schaum. In der Nase sehr hopfig, ebenso im Trunk, Getreide, cremig butterig. Fruchtig. Maracuja. Spät bitter.

Hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of yeast, mild stone fruits, pears. Taste of mild herbal hops, flowers, stone fruits, dry bitter finish.

Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aroma and taste: Malt, hay, noble hop. Light sweet, light to medium bitter. Hoppy ending and aftertaste. Overall: good stuff.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with small white head. Aroma is caramely, canned peach, grains. Taste is grains, a bit herbal hops, canned peach again, quite sweet. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Earthy finish. Not great for me.

500 ml bottle. Pours murky dark orange with big fluffy head. Orange cest, tangerine, grass, some herbal hops. Nice hoppy bitterness with some dry citric sourness. Medium bodied, creamy texture, dry finish, fresh and refreshing, lively carbonated. Very nice Zwickel, best enjoyed cold on a nice spring evening.

(bottle) Looks like a Hefeweizen: cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly yellow foamy head. Yeasty, slightly biscuity and delicately worty (cara-)malty aroma with fruity and slightly floral hoppy notes, including notes of grapefruit and traces of passion fruit. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft malty base with yeasty accents, backed by mainly fruity and slightly flowery hops; medium-dry, sweet and discreetly bitter finish with an exotic tail of passion fruit. Nice one, but I was expecting a bit more spicy hoppy bite. 11.VI.15

Bottle(@ Zeil, the last one!!!):Deep golden, hazy, small and stable loose white head; mild traces of aromatic hops in the pale-malty and fruity nose; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, fortunately quite soft; slightly lingering fruity-malty and mild hoppy-aromatic finish. Not bad, but still too tame…
