Draught@Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen. Black colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some caramel, mild funk as well as some liquorice and mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is wood, some fruity and floral notes along with liquorice, alcohol and some herbal notes. As for the flavour it’s kind of a boozebomb.

Bigger Copenhagen bimble with Colin, Ronnie, Reuben and Alex. Mikkeller & Friends Brewdog Tap Takeover. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, light cream. Mild dark chocolate and spices. A little oaty sweetness. Alcohol spice before a fruity - floral finish. A curious affair but quite tasty.

From keg at M&F thanks to Colin & Ken. It pours clear dark brown with a small tan head. The nose is sweet, smooth, creamy roast, chocolate, dried fruits, particularly dates and a good hit of liquorice. The taste is bitter-sweet, pretty punchy, lots of dried fruits, fruit cake, roasted malt, earth, light umami, touch of charred wood and a big boozy punch with a slick finish. Medium+ body, average carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Solid beverage, if a touch heavy going.
