A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, rhum, roasted malt, and raisins. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, rhum, hard roasted malt, , and dark bitter chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 60 cl. Pours black with a reddish hue and a light brown head. Nose is mainly boozy - has a malt liquor touch to it - with subtle roast and vanilla. Surprisingly only medium-bodied, incredibly lightweight for its strength. Burned, ashy roast, very subtle notes of wood and even subtler of rhum. Again rather boozy in the finish. 100316

Fonefan 110415. Black colour with a tan head. Flavour is rum, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel, licorice, dried fruits. Full body. Nice beer.

Black with small, thick, light tan head. Aroma has roast and dark chocolate. Boozy, alcoholic flavour, some roast and coffee. Mouthfeel is rather light. Nice but not overly convincing.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (31/05/2015) - pours black with tan head. Dark roasted malty aroma and taste, with prominent chocolate, some coffee, caramel sweetness, some burnt notes, rum towards the roasted finish.

Bottle courtesy Tastyland. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy rum/Vanilla aroma. Moderate bitter nice roasted flavor. Some rum notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Deasent for a rumbarrel.

Bottle 600ml. [ As Aarhus Black Monster Rum Edition ].Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, smoke, alcohol - sweet alcohol - rum. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet smoke - bacon - meat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Something about it I did not like - sorry ;D [20150411]
