Varmer godt i skrotten.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 23.08.15. Clear orange. No head. Strong and very sweet aroma of marmalade, jam and almonds. Absolutely superb strong, round and fruity taste. Stewed fruits.

Shared 330 ml bottle. Cognac to red colour, no head. Intense aroma of fusel alcohols, overpowers everything else. Minimal carbonation, if anything at all. Extremely sweet and alcoholic flavour. Not for me this one.

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours clear copper brown with small off-white head. CLear aroma of fruit, malt and alcohol. Sweet flavour of tons of caramel, some malt and an awful lot of bitter booze. Sweet aftertaste, with notes of, yes, again, alcohol. Not the worst Eisbock I have had but quite a challange, nonetheless.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s flat. Vibrant reddish amber beer, small cream colour head. On the nose is big green tea and dried fruits. A smooth palate, viscous too and with a novel spongey elastic feel, like a marshmallow! Good fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, good spice. Orange liqueuer, green tea and lots of black pepper. Smooth airy finish with a long peppery spice linger. Good fun and actually pretty drinkable in context of it’s massive abv.
