Very hazy, cloudy and dense golden, straw yellow and beige coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan, microfoamed, but slightly oily head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of oranges, grass, hay, flowers, mangoes, biscuits and a good deal of residual sugars, malt and alcohol. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong, rich malts, lactose, fruit and pungent grassy and floral notes dominate here with a bunch of sweetness battling with a thick, juicy mouthful of malts and showing some resinous, syrupy hops that have some bitterness from the alpha acids, but much more depth of the fruit aspects than the bitterness. Aftertaste is very rich here, with the alcohol warmth noticeable along with a bunch of fruits and residual sugars from the lactose, finished with the orange-y and mango flavours, a good dash of bitterness and some alcohol here, but strong throughout. Overall, a nice, very sweet, fruit forward, lactosey and balanced real Imperial IPA that fits the new school model and remains very easy-drinking, especially considering the alcohol! Great to have fresh, nice to sample if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Tyson's Corner (Vienna), Virginia on 29-October-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack!), canned on 07-July-2021 with the tagline 'chaos warrior' and sampled at my house here in Washington on 07-December-2021.

Bursting with ripe juicy fruity notes of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, orange tangy, zesty citrus rind, medium plus body, powerful warming to boozy into the hoppy finish. Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruits, hops, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of mango, citrus fruits, spices, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Pint can pours with a hazy glowing gold to dirty copper colored body that supports a nice near white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up largely tropical notes of guava, cantaloupe and honeydew as well as a bit of citrus. The taste delivers soft sweet juicy guava and cantaloupe rimmed thinly by more tangy hoppy notes of mango and tangerine. To midway the tropical fruitiness ramps up to robust levels with little around to provide balance as the tangy citrus is overwhelmed. Nice sipper but this cold use a more balance.
