We're well documented about how passionate we are for a pale ale here at the brewery. For all the supercharged, high abv beers we produce, there's sometimes nothing better than the straightforward simplicity of a well made pale ale. Bye Bye Bayou - named for an an obscure Alan Vega song, and subsequent LCD Soundsystem cover, our head of sales Arron plays almost daily - is everything we love about those reeled back, slightly lower abv beers perfect for supping several of. Featuring an easygoing and laid back hop bill of Amarillo and Simcoe, this beer bursts with all the typical Polly's notes; berries, apricot, passionfruit and mango, but with pronounced pine and earthy notes to keep everything in check, and wrapped up in our signature LA3 yeast profile.

Can sourced from To Øl Webshop and drunk at home - hazy golden yellow with a white head. Juicy fruity medley of stonefruit and citrus notes, getting lots of nectarine, peach, apricot, pink grapefruit, tangerine and citrus rind, sweet malts, piney and light bitter with lots of floral hoppy action into the close. Alright.

440ml can purchased from the Office and drunk at home. Light gold and hazy with a small ring of white head. Big, dank aroma with grapefruit, pineapple, lemon. Bittersweet and considerably hoppy, initially with pretty intense almost oniony hop burn. It eventually settles into a more balanced and agreeable taste, with considerable bitterness in the finish. A bit unwieldy when compared to Polly's best beers but it's decent enough.
