Cask at the Bear (JDW), Maidenhead. Straw coloured with a loose white head; sweet grainy aroma; light grapefruit citrus taste; and a sticky finish. Refreshing, but nothing more.

Cask (gravity) @ EBF18 2014, 18th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As Windsor & Eton Maracanã ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, sweet fruit, pale malt, light to moderate yeasty, plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet fruit, pale malt, fruity, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140807]

Gravity dispense at Le Gothique’s LBA bash, 24/07/14. Clear golden with a mdoerate off white head that retains. Nose is orange, light sweat, pale malt, grass. Taste comprises citric peel, light smoke, grass, melon, candied sugar, vanilla essence. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok GB but lower down the pecking order from W&E.

Cask - Sweet tropical fruit, syrupy and some citrus rind. Hazy gold with a bubbly head. Sweet tropical fruit and a light clean finish. Not nearly a sticky sweet as the smell.

1 litre plastic take out bottle from the Windsor & Eton Brewery, Windsor, Berks. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, guava, other tropical fruits, slightly bitter. Reasonable golden ale.
