Keg at the Earl of Essex, 25/02/15. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangy lemon, Mosaic hops well evident, tarte mango, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises juicy mosaicness, light smoke, lemon rind, tangy tropicana, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light puckering acidity in the close. This is how to do a hopped ’Linner, the Mosaic shines through at all times whilst retaining a light acid wash.

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, pale yellow-gold with a lasting, creamy white head. Tangy lemon, grapefruit and melon in the aroma with accents of grass. Light sweet flavor with assertive tartness, mellow lactic funk, moderate bitterness, some pithy grapefruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean and tangy on the finish, a little salty and sweaty, with more tart citrus fruits and bitter grass. Very nice. Well executed.

330ml bottle, batch 377, from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Hazy pale golden colour, nor real head. Aroma has grapefruit, tropical fruit and pineapple. The taste has a nice slightly sour refreshing quality.

Bottle at home, 6th February 15. Pours clear and clean. Aroma is sour, pineapple, hops. The flavour is sour pineapple, lemon and orange sherbet, the hops are present and it is a clean, well balanced beer. Refreshing

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy pale golden amber, nose is burnt toffee, tropical fruit, taste is dry, quite sour, pineapple.

Keg at Beer Rebellion GH. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is fresh, piney, oily orange, straw and toasted grass. The taste is tart, sharp lemon, grapefruit rind, some acidity, sherbet, dough, grass, pine and good mouth-pucker with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and tart. Rather taste, but doesn’t quite match up to the simcoe for me.
