Tap at Kernel Arch 7, London 18/11/2023 Toasted and sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, biscuity malts, solid hoppy action giving some nice marmalade citrus fruity character, citrus peel, medium body, malty and robust hoppy finish. Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours unclear copper with a frothy, yellowish khaki head. Gorgeous brew, moderate sweetness, oily pine, ripening citrus, toasted malts, bits of caramel, orange peel. Medium bodied, creamy, with massaging carbonation. Resinous finish, more rich malt character, gooey pine, plump citrus. It doesn’t get much better than this.
