English Fuggles and Goldings do a sterling job of balancing crystal and pale ale malts, working their hops off for a floral aroma and a satisfying bitterness that is subtle but, like us, in it for the long haul.

Cask at the Maypole, Cambridge, 19/07/22. Clear golden copper with a good sized off white head that retains well ... lacing ensues. Nose is dusty fruits, grains, straw, biscuit crumbs. Taste comprises biscuit malts, hint of cereals, brown bread, fruit esters. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Not bad.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: klar kobbergylden med flott skum som varer. Citrus og barskog. Elegant balansert og meget lett å helle over drøvelen, men så var det også dagens første!
