Can split at 36 Levels lost, thanks to the Wingmane, 28/03/18. Murky yellow blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is sweet malts, melon, papaya, peach, soft breads. Taste comprises apricot jam, orange pith, toasted grains, melon, light mineral bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

Can at L6. It pours cloudy dirty blonde with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, green, oily, nectarine, tangerine, creamy, onion, dank filth and mango smoothie. The taste is smooth, dry, green, pine needles, pithy, zesty, soda water, earth and toasty grain with a drying finish. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Taste is a bit light. Fair.

Can shared in Columbus - thanks to Dave. Pours murky yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds ripe and jammy citrus, melon, tangerine, doughy white bread. Light sweet flavour, pithy and minerally, citrus rind, pine needles. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and pithy finish, more citrus peel, moderate bitterness. Decent gear.

Can. Little Leeds Beer House. Dirty, murky light brown. No real head. Ugly beer. Nose is brighter than it looks, with notes of stewed pineapple and ripe peach. Some crisp citrus. Some oaty cream. Taste is a little sweet, turning dry and light bitter. Thin on the palate. Light but prickly carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. I was looking forward to this, as Beak do some interesting beers, and this is probably their most “normal” yet, so was keen to see how it came out. I suspect it’s another beer gone down the pan due solely to poor quality packaging methods. Shame.
