Keg at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 21/03/18. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is jammy tropical fruit, orange, mandarin, soft breads, apricot. Taste comprises orange wine gums, mango pulp, brioche, light floral wave, airy malts, tangerine, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking IPA.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, airy and mildly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Soft fluffy malts, mild to medium sweetness. Nice orange hops - mildly spicy, fresh orange and a lemon tang. Mild floral tang and a touch of candy fruits. Light finish. Not that strong an elderflower vibe but it hangs together very well.

Bottle. Dram Shop, Sheffield. Bright gold. Soft haze. Thin, dense, sticky, white head. Nose has juicy, sticky and dank, ripe orange hop. The elderflower is probably passing me by under all that, but there’s a light floral character to it. Bit of bready, sweet yeast. Hint of cucumber on the end? Maybe that’s the elderflower? Anyhow, it smells great. Taste is sweet and juicy. Light bitterness. Medium body. Massaging mouthfeel. Gets floral, herb oil bitter as it finishes. Tasty gear.
