Cock Tavern. Keg, Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, sweetish. Spicy hop, floral hop. Modest citrus and a little nettle hop. Touch of lemon. Light crisp finish. Leave a spicy bitter linger. Decent.

Keg at the Cock Taverna. It pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is really quite green & stinky, herbal, coriander, damp leaves, fennel, nettles, bread, cracker and biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, pithy, zesty, citrus, grass, straw, resin, greenness, nettles and a touch of soap. Light – medium body and decent carbonation. I find the aroma pretty weird – very green indeed. Not really sold on this one.

Cask at the Bootlegger, HW, 23/07/17. Murky golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is tangerine, papaya, light dank hop hit, straw, soft breads. Taste comprises apricot jam, straw, papaya, melon, soft tropical fruit flesh, light pine quiver. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close dashed with juicy come danko hop bitterness. Decent session gear .. nailed on this would have been better not so hot on keg in July !!!

Keg at the Cock Tavern - London. Pours mucky gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds fresh and floral hops, some orange peel. Light sweet flavour with lots of flinty minerals, raw flowers, grass, pine needles, more citrus peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with moderate rindy bitterness, more fresh and floral hops, tangerine, understated pale bread sweetness. A bit raw. It’s not bad, but both breweries can do better.
