Keg at the Three Johns, 24/11/16. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange peel, toasted grains, straw, a touch thin bit inoffensive. Taste comprises tangerine, soft bread, light hop bill, straw, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style but not really coming home as a Witbier, more a lightly hopped Wheat Ale.

Keg at the Euston Tap. Light gold and slightly hazy with little head and visible carbonation. ah Fresh citrus scent: grapefruit and pineapple compete for attention. The taste is one of light citrus bitterness. More like a wheat pale ale than a witbier although the wheaty elements come to prominence in the taste and finish. A pleasurable experience.

Keg at Three Johns. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh bready action, cereal, orange peel, tangerine and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, cracker, grass, soda water, citrus peel and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough Witbier, but perhaps comes across as a bit weak.

Keg @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Golden-amber with a thin head. Has a mid-citrus fruitiness, and pineapple is a dominant flavour. It becomes dry in its aftertaste. Its aroma is low too.
