Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up, cheers to our host with the most 10/12/14. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric pith, mango, light pine, straw, citric sherbets, light mineral strains. Taste is awash with big chalky mineral strokes, orange pith, light smoke, hint of pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough hopster.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours lightly hazy gold with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, piney, passion fruit, apple, candied peel, dough and Fruit Salad sweets. The taste is bitter, straw, orange rind, grapefruit, stone fruits, lemon poppy-seed muffin, pepper and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, juicy and fruity. Solid IPA.

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Amber, with a slight, off-white head, and plenty of fizz. Citrus fruit, green apple and slightly earthy malt aroma. Flavour had tangerine and pineapples, fairly dense cereal malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Bottle shared in London. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some sharp citrus fruits, ripe tangerine, a bit of pee, pale bread, mango. Medium sweet flavor with strong minerality, lots of orange rind, grains, pine needles. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with more mineral flint, citrus rind, husky grains. Great aroma but the flavor and palate don’t follow as nicely. Overall, decent.

Bottle shared at Leightons pre Christmas tasting. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is melon, little tropical fruit, chive and lemon. Nice papaya on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of dirty lemon, decent tropical fruit, papaya, little chive. Palate is medium bodied, light resin on the tongue with highish carbonation. Very tasty indeed.

Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is dry and a little crisp. Light dry pale malts. Bitterish flowers. Very dry and powdery mid. Hop spice and citrus on the back end. Finishes dry, with hop spice lingering on. Dry and a bit messy.
