Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up, thanks to the Cronx Homey 10/12/14. Hazed orange amber with a decnt light beige covering. Nose is bitter fruit rinds, spice, bready malt tones, tarte fruit. Taste comprises bitter orange, malty notes, tangy dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so - wouldn’t have this as a porter - English Strong?

Tasting at Leighton’s Flat. Thanks to Paul. Hazy amber beer, big fluffy pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Light malts, little creamy sweetness. Yep! Saltled caramel - loud and clear. Tangy. Finishes airy and semi dry with a more accentuated savoury note. Interesting beer!

Bottle from the Wine Cellar, Sanderstead. It pours cloudy deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is sweet, toasty, caramel, juicy, fudge, creamy, candy and spice. The taste is toasty, creamy, caramel, brown bread, earth, mild acidity, vanilla toffee and fudge with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty solid stuff.

Pretty tasty.

Bottle shared at Leightons pre Christmas tasting. Hazed reddy / orange coloured pour with a off white head. Aroma is sharp apple, nutty, some caramel, hint of musty. Flavour is composed of tart sharp apple, apricot, caramel, little saltiness on the tongue. Tart and sharp. Palate is spritz carbonation, sweet and sour. Not a fan of this on. Little metallic note as well.
