Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up, thanks to LKS 10/12/14. Hazed orange amber with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is pale malt, melon, straw, bitter orange, citric peel. Taste comprises orange, light mineral notes, sweet tones, bread dough, melon. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Adequate APA but not on a par with most of its London based contemporaries.

Tasting at Leighton’s Flat. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Airy pale malts, trace of sweetness. Floralness. Mild sweet orange. Light airy finish brings mild bitterness. A bit polite but fine.

Bottle shared at Leightons pre Christmas tasting. Clear golden / orange with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is slight lemon / grassy cascade hop, little nutty malt, little lavender. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty, little caramel, happy, fresh leaf, crisp lemon. Palate is a bit under carbonated, semi sweet. Lingering grassy hop with a little crisp finish. Ok. Could do with a little bit more carbonation.

Bottle shared in London. Pours crystal clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has grainy bread, dough, orange, grass. Light sweet flavor with simple white bread, sugars, floral hops, mellow grassy bitterness, tangerine meringue. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more pale bread, grains, orange rind. Fairly basic but not bad.
