Cask at the brewery. Very hazy orange - amber beer, small off white head. Palate is airy and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Airy malts, nice juicy orange. Brief flash of chilli heat, not over powering but does also bring a little green vegetal flavour. Finishes smooth with more decent orange morphing in to marmalade. Chilli starts to accumulate and becomes warmer in the linger. Not bad, not overdone.

Gravity dispense at the brewery, 20/12/14. Hazed orange amber with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is chalky minerals, bitter orange, light pine, mango. Taste comprises more chalky minerals, pine, caramel, orange pith, light green pepper and chilli. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light spice and earthy hops. Decent enough for what it is, good balance of the chilli/heat, but never a variation on an IPA that is ever going to want me having more than a few sips.

Cask at the brewery. Hazed orange coloured pour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is strawberry, berry, sweet citrus, little veg, little perfume on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of sweet berry, hint building chilli warmth, base malts, jammy hop. Palate is medium light bodied with moderate carbonation and a warming chilli. Ok. Little veg.

Cask at Anspach & Hobday. It pours lightly hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, jammy, sweet strawberry, candied orange peel and chalk. The taste is bitter-sweet, orange rind, stewed fruits, apricot, earth and some underlying chilli spice with a peppery finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Thankfully the chilli is not overdone. Not bad.
