Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, light tan head. The aroma has mellow cocoa, dark fruits, grapes. Medium sweet flavor with more grape, brown bread, berries, slight earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with ripening berries, very mild coffee impressions, and lightly toasted brown bread. Fairly tasty but the coffee character is minimal.
