Tasting at Paul and Lorna’s flat. Deepest Croydonia. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate. Pretty grainy malts, cereal as well. Light floralness and citric orange. Light dry finish. Much too grainy.

Bottle at the pre-Zwanze tasting in Croydonia, thanks to LKS, 20/09/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering that retains. Nose carries a citric rinse, grain, biscuit notes, light must, ornage peel. Taste comprises mandarin, grain, spice, bitter orange, tangy citrics, lemon peel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so offering, not clean enough for my liking and lacks hops.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Resin and sour milk aromas. Dry with caramel and resin upfront turning to sourdough and earth in the lasting finish.

Bottle big thanks to Leighton. It pours lightly hazy orange with a small white head. The nose is grainy, orange, sherbet, biscuit and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, orange peel, grainy, cereal and soapy action with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Alright.

Bottle shared pre Zwanze 2014 - picked up in MA. Pours unclear gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds pale bread, ripe lemon, mandarin orange. Light sweet flavor with some pale grains, citrus rind, slight minerals, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. OK balance on the finish, some grainy pale malts, more citrus rind, white bread. Not bad.
