Euston Tap. Cask. Almost clear deep brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth with decent fine carbonation, nice condition. Tangy dark malts, light touches of dark chocolate and red berry fruits. Hops are piney and a little spicy, some orange citrus comes through in the light semi dry finish. Spicy hop lingers on. Good stuff.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 02/09/14. Black with a well appointed tan covering that dissipates then stays for the show. Nose is pine, bitter hops, scorched earth, light smoke, roasty tones, figgy jam, liqourice, cocoa sprinkle. Taste comprises light roast, earthy tones, bitter hop presence, spice, chocolate strains, liqourice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with bitter hops. Decent enough low ABV CDA.

Cask at the Euston Tap. It pours near black with a bubbly beige head. The nose is rich roast, earth, coffee, cocoa, juicy, oily, candied citrus peel and light sherbet. The taste is big on the bitterness, roasty, earth, resin, coffee, grapefruit, hop astringency and mild caramel with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A punchy bastard. Flavoursome. Rather nice lower abv black ipa.
