Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with a thin fluffy magnolia head, tangerine and grapefruit aroma, taste had a touch of biscuit sling with pine, envelope stickiness, it’s true but this beer is wiper.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul. Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry. Modest carbonation. Mildly bitter floral things. Light caramel streaked malt underneath. Light semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, thanks to Paulinho S Copey, 12/06/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderate light beige swirl. Nose is ripe citrics, pine jacketee, caramel malt base, orange pith, grapefruit. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, caramel, grapefruit, candied fruit peel, not quite as good as the aroma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough amber.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul and Lorna. Pours mostly clear, light amber with a bubbly white head. The nose holds moist bread, some orange, wood. Light-medium sweet flavor with cedar wood, dried citrus, light rindy and piney bitterness. Medium bodied but a touch thin, with fine carbonation. Lightly sweet to finish, some minerals, pine, more orange rind. OK.

Bottle from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Copper coloured, with a decent, off-white head. Citrus fruit and hop aroma, with a touch of caramel and earthy malt aroma. Easy drinking, with solid, almost bready malts, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Very good.
