Bottle at home in London - Bayswater. Picked this guy up at the brewery way back when. Pulled it deep from the cellar tonight. Opens with a hiss and a little rise but no gush. Pours mostly clear copper, effervescent, with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Novel aroma, some coffee, bergamot, tea, orange peel, tangerine. Medium sweet flavour with lightly toasted wheat bread, caramelised sugars, ripe citrus, meringue, coffee beans, anise, lemon zest. Light to medium bodied with lively, massaging carbonation, sweet finish with hints of grassy bitterness, toasted grains, more caramelised sugars, some ripe citrus, lemongrass, rindy bitterness, some floral notes, maybe licorice even. Not sure I would want to drink a lot of this, but it definitely gets puts for creativity. Can’t say I recall having a beer that tasted like this - and I mean that in a good way. Fun stuff.

Somewhat murky amber beer with a small off white head. Palate is light and dry and crisp. Brief burst of zippy orange and tangerine and then big perfumery floralness. Violets and crushed hard candy sweets. Whisper of spice. Finishes light and dry with bitterish floral linger. Very perfumed but interesting and tasty. I oresume Omnipollo are on the dog and bone to their lawyers re the bottle design! Lol!

Bottle at the brewery, 31/05/14. Murky orange amber with a moderate off white/light beige swirl. Nose is floral, big spice and herb notes, bitter yuzu tang, light ginger, straw. Taste comprises mandarin, bitter yuzu, aniseed, spice rack, lava/pummistone ntoes, lime jus, earthy nots. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison, interesting mix, a little unbalanced perhaps - maybe too much going on, but I always like some bitter yuzu in a brew!
