Keg at the brewery - London. Pours clear, amber-gold, effervescent, with a light tan foam head. The nose holds bready malts, light Belgian yeast, subtle berries, orange. Medium sweet flavor with light citrus, dough, Belgian yeast esters. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Good balance on the finish with light bitter toasted hay, some orange rind, more doughy pale bread. Nice one.

Keg at the brewery, 31/05/14. Lightly hazed reddish amber, pretty dark tones for a saison, light beige edgework and spotting on top. Nose is light yeast esters, caramel, lemon rind, spice, straw, herbal tones, light aniseed. Taste comprises citric peel, bitter orange, candied sugars, bubblegum, bitter fruit rinds, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dryness in the close. Ok saison, kind of crossed over with an amber ale in places with the bubblegum and candy effect.

Keg at fourPure. It pours deep red-amber with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, spicy, hay, wood, earth, dried fruit, barnyard and dough. The taste is bitter, earthy, brown bread, rice pudding, barnyard, toasty, light warmth, spice and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice bread & bitter pudding about it.
