Cask at the Cock, 14/01/14. Clear dark chestnut brown with a good sized bubble beige head that retains well - a handsome looking beer. Nose is toffee, biscuit, earthy hops, tropical fruit notes, light pine shavings. Taste comprises caramel malt, a big hoppy punch, pine needles, tropical fruit ring. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter hoppy notes in the closure. Superb hopped up mild, could drink a gallon of this and come back for more! Oodles of flavour for 3.3% !!!

Cock Tavern. Clear deep amber - red beer, small off white head. Palate is light and dry and mildly crisp. Mellow malts, whisper of something toffee, entertain a tasty US hop profile. Mild skunk and pine, light fresh citrus. Pithy orange with a touch of lemon and grapefruit. Smooth and semi dry finish with a mild bitter aftertaste. Very well hopped mild. My half disappeared in about 2 mins.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours clear, golden-brown with a fine, creamy tan head. The nose holds toasted caramel and brown bread. Light sweet flavor with toasted brown bread, earth, burnt pine, slight toffee. Light in body with fine carbonation. Finishes with more burnt pine bitterness, subtle chocolate, toasted malts. Not bad.
