Bottle at the Night of Garbage, from Ales by Mail, 20/12/13 up a shit load of stairs ! Murky orange with a moderate white head that thins to spotting and edgework. Nose is musty, dirty leaves, stale farts, vegetal notes, metallic ring. pea soup. Taste comprises tangy citric notes, earthy, dank straw, yeast esters, a big improvement on the aroma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry closure. Pretty weak for the style but palatable.

The (not so) shit beer tasting at Leightons stratospheric flat. Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and crisp, semi dry. Seltzer salts and light tangy sourness. A little orangey citrus and a whisper of lemon. Light dry finish. Actually, despite the scuttlebut, not that bad.

Bottle at the Night of Garbage, big thanks to Colin for this rare treat. It pours cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is smooth, creamy, apricot, candy, barnyard, mustiness and a touch of sulphur. The taste is smooth, tart, creamy, wheat, apricot, dried mango and tangy lemon with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Tastes rather nice actually. One of Brupond’s better offerings.

Bottle shared at the Night of Garbage - big thanks to Colin for this London whale. Pours very murky gold with a weak, white cream head. The nose has acidic lemon, sour wheat, light sweat. Light sweet flavor, some doughy cereal, cleansing lemon tang. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Pretty clean finish with tangy lemon, light sour bite, more sour wheat. A respectable sour. Pretty drinkable. RIP, Brupond.

330ml bottle [with handwritten "Belgian Farmhouse">. Clear, deeply golden colour with very small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, bready aroma with a tart touch that rather seems to be based on infection than intention. Taste is simply sourish, some bread, a yeasty touch in the finish. What is all this good for?
