(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 10 Apr 2014) Dark red colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with citrus, rye bread and orange peel. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of orange peel, rye bread, toast and a balanced, citric bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, with a touch of sweetness. Highly drinkable, with a spicy rye character. Quite nice.

Cask air pressure at Euston Tap. Clear pale brown lasting near white head. Yes some rye spice. Some hop. Bit too smooth in the mouth but it grew on me decent hops. Some milk chocolate some strawberry jam. Ok

Cask at the Old Fountain, big thanks to JD for the pour, 09/12/13. Dark reddish amber with a moderate off white head. Nose is biscuit, toffee, rye, orchard fruit. Taste comprises caramel malt, light hop notes, blood orange, biscuit crumble, earthy, rye bread, gentle citric tang. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with a touch of bitterness. Ok stuff.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, foamy white head. Aroma has a bit of bread and leaves. Light sweet flavor with further bread, mellow piney bitterness, leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland to finish, a bit of moist bread, dirt, leaves, very soft ripe orange. Meh.
