Draft at Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2013 - London. Pours clear, dark brown with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds well-roasted coffee and deep-roasted malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with charred malts, hard water minerals, bitter cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry roasted malt finish with cocoa and modest, earthy bitterness. Good, somewhat gritty.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2013. Black beer no head. Lots of coffee aroma and flavour. Too much coffee and not much else.
