Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a creamy white head. The nose holds tangy bread, moderate ripe fruits. Light to medium sweet with mellow tangy berries, bread, light yeast and soft funk. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish with lightly toasted bread, faint cereal grains, slight tangy fruits. There’s a very mellow tang throughout this beer that seems a big out of place. Otherwise it’s nice stuff.

Keg at the cock tavern. Orange amber colour with a thick cream head. Aroma is nutty Munich malt and slight grass. Flavour is nutty caramel malt and some Nobel hop. Crisp carbonation and milky mouth feel.

Cock Tavern. Keg. Hazy deep amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is very smooth and a little soft. Super soft malt with light malt cream. Light semi sweet caramel and subtle nuts. Whisper of mellow ripe fruits, perhaps a touch of orange. Finishes smooth and semi dry. A beguiling beer, very drinkable.

Keg at the Cock, 19/11/13. Hazed dark amber with a good sized off white head that retains well, good lacing ensues. Nose is dark fruits, straw, toffee. Taste comprises dark toffee, rich fruit tang, straw, bready malts, subtle hop profile. Medium bodied, lick of spritz in the carbonation, dry finale. Decent enough alt.
