Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a bubbly, white head. Pungent hop aroma with raw flowers, pine and dirt. Light sweet flavor with heavy, oppressive hops, loads of oily pine, orange rind, grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Raw and resinous to finish with buckets of straight whole flower hops, pine, dirty grass. Just way too much unbalanced hop presence. Little in the way of balance or nuance.

Cask at Brewharf, Stoney Street, Borough, Southwark, London in company of Loz & Ang, Saturday 26th October 2013 I get plenty of hoppy burps from the off, this is bitter, really bitter, it is fresh really zappy a real roof of the mouth wrecker much like the beer that this is apeing. Furry on the roof of my mouth, plenty of grapefruit a long lingering bitter and dry finish it is a very nice beer but I marginally prefer the Hopfather 2 but Loz is totally won over by this. Cask at Brew Wharf, 09/11/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white head formed of bubbleage that retains well. Nose is hops, dank pine light, bitter citrics, light grapefruit, mango, tropicals, grass. Taste comprises earthy hops, tangy citrus, orange pith, mineral bite, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Great sessionable cask APA !

Cask at the brewpub.Clear gold beer with a small white head. Smooth palate, fine carbonation. Smoth and slightly dry pale malt, not sweet. Strong hops - bitter orange peel and grapefruit. A little pith and a whisper of lemon. Smooth semi dry finish with a long bitter linger. Muscular!
