Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear russet with a creamy, off-whiter head. Classic nose, some leaves, dried berries and lightly toasted grains. Light sweet flavor with simple bready malts, faint caramel, bitter grass and leaves, some dough. Light bodied wiggins carboantion; OK condition. Leafy bitter finish with touches of toasted grains, earthy hops, very skins. So so.

[ As Peoples Pints ESB ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sweet caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140806]

Cask at the People’s Park Tavern, 13/09/14. Clear copper amber with no head. Nose is toffee, biscuit malt, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises orchard wood, toffee, malt, a little on the green side. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. A pretty muted affair ... yawn!

Cask at Peoples Park. It pours deep amber with no head. The nose is sweet, woody, brown bread, dried fruits and toasty sugar. The taste is bitter-sweet, wood, brown bread, leather and twig with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok web, but pretty basic.

Cask at the peoples park tavern. Red orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, red berry. Palate is semi sweet, tart red berry. Moderate carbonation. Tasty beer.

Cask - Sweet caramel and toast. Cloudy copper with a thin head. Light toasted grains and a light bitterness. Simple but decent.
