Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light gold, clear with a touch of white head. Hay, butterscotch, toast in the aroma. Sweet syrupy taste. Not a lot to it. The perfect serving temperature stops this from being the typical buttery gold.

Cask at the King and Castle, Kidderminster. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy long lasting white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is super malty, light fruit, hop bitter. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, fresh, dry malty woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A plain and simple English bitter. Fine for a session.

50cl bottle. A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head and light carbonation; light biscuity malt aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a crystal malt taste and a fresh citrus tang; and a clean crisp finish. A rather good light bitter.
