#@$& YEAH! This American style IPA is a tip of the hat to our friends in the States who gave the world the face-melting, hop forward style of IPA we love.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy, zesty, hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, blood orange, some resin, pine, malty background with a peanut touch. Taste is bitter hoppy, zesty, grapefruit and blood orange notes, some pine. Seems to be a bit light and watery ’cause the flavours broadcast on a very limited number of frequences; a nice dirty touch for credit postings.

Bottle, batch 2 from Alesela. It pours deep amber with medium yellow-White head. The nose is juicy, sticky, pine needles, varnish, toffee, orange sherbet, peach and toffee. The taste is bitter, resinous, pine needles, light alcohol, grapefruit rind, peach, toasty brown bread and pepper with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. All comes together rather well. Solid IPA.

8th November 2014
Very hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light malts, thin but with good sweetness. Touch of floral candy fruits. Hops are sweetish orange morphing in to mild marmalade. A citric zing emerges before the light finish. A slightly sweet IPA but very nice.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky amber body with a thin off-white head. Light lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, honey, mango and a hint of aniseed. Initial flavour of sweet caramel, then the hops come in and completely take over - notes of white grape, bitter blood orange and sharp grapefruit. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The hoppiest beer I’ve tried from Alechemy - I love it.
