Cask at the Magpie & Crown, Brentford on 31st January 2015. Slightly hazy copper with diminishing off-white foam and scant lacing. Sweet biscuit malts and orchard fruits aroma. Fruity in-mouth with berries, apples and sour citrus. A herby touch. Sweet and fruity end but with sour, cidery overtones. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body.

Cask at the Red Lion, Axminster, Devon, 11-11-06. This amber coloured beer was unfortunately a little bit past it’s best, tired and drab, a bit fruiy and bitter and even allowing for not being served in tip top condition I’m not sure that I would have been overly impressed with this.

Cask gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. Copper colour with white head. Woody/rubbery aroma and a bit of apple. Quite a nice fruity finish with dry dusty hops.
