Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is a misty haze settling into yellow-orange liquid with decent sparkle, 2-finger width frothy head with good retention and fair soapy lacing. Aroma is fruity esters and sour fruit over wheat. Taste is similar to aroma--mix of fruity esters and sour fruit over wheat. Palate is medium bodied with foamy texture, lively carbonation and more sour than sweet fruity, dry finish. Overall, an interesting take on a saison but sour’s not my thing so downplaying the sweet esters and increasing the sour isn’t my bag.
