A handshake for Hells and a high-five to USA, this takes our classic lager and slams Stateside hops at it for an Atlantic-crossing home-run of juicy citrus fruit.

Hazy with big foam, bright citrus and tropical fruit aroma, pithy bitterness and amazing hop freshness: it’s got the beautiful lightness of lager countered with a big hit of hops.

We love American hops and we love Hells Lager and wanted to smash the two together. The result is probably the most delicious beer we’ve ever brewed. It’s just about the most bangable beer you’ll ever have.

Malt: Pilsner
Hops: Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Citra, Simcoe

Bottle at home, 21st June 14. Above average lager, with at least some flavour and body to it. Not a patch on the Indian Summer

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, pale yellow. Big, fluffy, white head. Citrus. Cracker. Kiwi, possibly. Gooseberry? Something unusual in there. Taste is dry. Light, underlying sweetness. Palate is fresh, dry and bright. Finish is dry. Very light bitter.

Tap at Marciero. Hoppy, grassy nose, biscuity malts. Almost clear pale yellow with a low head. Crisp and hoppy, nice and bready. Very enjoyable lager. Clean and light.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Ariel. Pale yellow, slightly hazy, with a white head. Very pleasant hoppy aroma, grassy, "green", floral and tropical with light grainy malt. Dry flavor full of fruity and floral hops flavor, finishes with a nice bitterness. Light-bodied. Very good and refreshing.

tap@Waterfront bar and restaurant, Streatham (9/3/2014) - golden pour with a medium creamy white head. Grassy aroma and taste, light hoppy, straw, hay, great crisp malts, thirst quenching and refreshing on such a unusually hot March day.
