Location: Draft at the Charlotte Airport, 4/5/12
Aroma: There's some toast/bread, caramel, and light earth on the nose
Appearance: Into the glass a clear copper color with a lasting off-white head
Flavor: The taste of this one is mid sweet, fairly malty, with a light earthy hop
Palate: The body is light-medium, with an average carbonation, and a smooth enough feel
Overall Impression: This was a decent amber, that drinks alright. I would drink it again, but I would not rush out for it.

A copper amber beer with a thin off white head. A chalky vienna malt aroma, lightly nutty. In mouth, a nice biscuitty malt with German hops, roasted notes, a bit mineral. On tap at Great North Carolina Brewers Fest., August 28 2010.

1/2 pint Kolsch type glass at the brewery tasting room. Pour is clear amber golden with a smallish off white head that leaves behind significant lacing. Aroma is light cereal malts, bread, some mild sweetness. Clean, though subdued nose. Taste is the cereal grain, light floral sweetness and a bit of mineral earthiness in the finish. Palate is light to medium bodied, nice active carbonation - crisp and quite easy to drink. Nice Alt.
