Draft at GBBF 2013, day 4 - London. Pours clear gold with a bubbly topping. The nose holds dry and moderately grainy pale malts, bread, dry citrus. Light sweet flavor, with some dry tangerine, some biscuits, mellow bitter straw. Light in body with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced in the finish, with a bit more biscuity pale malts, semi-dry tangerine. A nice IPA overall.

I guess I got the second batch as mine says best by 12/27. Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is almost a pils type bready malt. Flavor is more of a dry cracker malt with some a bit of grasay hay like hops. Finish is a touch herbal and bitter. Just ok. I don’t know what they were going for here.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-yellow body, thin foamy white head. Grassy, herbal hop flavors and aroma, like someone else pointed out, almost approaching saison tones at times. Drinkable, approaching full bodied. Toasty bitterness. Has faded a little even after a month in terms of hops, but is another rather unique addition to the Unchained family.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’13, 16/08/13. Hazed golden amber with little in the way of a head. Nose is light hops, caramel malt, grass, orange. Taste comprises toasted malts, orange, light hop bill. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dryish finish with subtle hop bitterness. So so IPA.

GBBF Day 4. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Light semi dry palate. Floral malt. Touch of pithy grapefruit. Light hop spice. Finishes semi dry. Not bad, a bit mild despite the apparent freshness of the hops.

Not bad. This pours a very pale yellow with minimal head. Floral/hop aroma, with some bready notes. Flavor is very crisp, with pepper, citrus, and pine-hop bitterness. Bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours pale golden yellow with pretty much no head. The nose is soft, grainy, straw, floral and dough. The taste is lemony, grapefruit, pepper, decent bitterness, floral, straw, with a dry, citric finish. Not much going on.... A bit bland really...
