Definitely the best peanut butter stout I've had in a while. Roast, some chocolate, peanut. Well balanced. I don't usually like this style, but this is well done. Can shared at DC Beer event.

Can at the DCBeer May share. Poured a pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted peanuts, roasted malts, some light bitter chocolate. Big roast, chocolate. Coffee. Peanut toasted. Really nice.

Charlton draught, 2/14/25.
Dark, with a creamy, tan head.
Light-to-moderate roasted peanut in the nose with a dollop of lactose adding its usual milky blandness. No fluff that I can find. Like a toned-down version of the last batch of Double Shot Peanut Butter.
More flavor than the nose suggests, thankfully. Rich and lightly creamy with lactose and (assumedly) fluff lightening the body with their adjunct sugar contribution. The peanut butter is the star here and it's roasty and flavorful. But yeah, a lot of sugar....hints of dark berry and prune on the finish. No alcohol noted. Probably best consumed ice cold, the way it's served, to mask the sweetness ....

On tap in Tewksbury. Opaque black with ring of head, nice viscosity, trace lacing. Aroma is strong peanuts, chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is decadently rich chocolate, peanuts, roasted peanuts/malt, vanilla/lactose. Smooth, thick, full bodied, avg. carbonation, finish as taste. Lovely peanut butter (and fluff) beer with excellent strength and nice complexity.
