Draft @ Tilquin English Fest ’16, courtesy of and shared with the fine Belgian RB crew. Another great offering of past BB beer .... BB 21.6.2015 Ambrée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme de pomme caramélisée, malt moyen, rétro surtout un rappel de vieille brune. Palais est malté, pomme cara verte, malt fin grillé et note de caramel.

Clear purple brown beer, very fizzy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, malty, banana, very yeasty, sourish, floral, sugary, bit dirty, raisins. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sourish, raisins, dried fruits, some caramel, sugary. Aftertaste: bit oxidized, dried fruits, unpleasant bitterness. Not as bad as the overall score would indicate. Or maybe it is worse when it's fresh, that I don't know.

Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier mit mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch gering säuerlich malzig, reifes Obst, Hefe. Geschmack leicht säuerlich malzig, Karamell, leicht hefig, nicht gut.

Fonefan 280215. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Flavour is roasted malt, yeast, fruit, caramel, coffee. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Gusher.. Pours brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, sour and wheat. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottled@fonefan. Hazy brown colour with a big beigeish foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, sweet malts, caramel, some toasted notes along with fruits, yeast and mild smoked wet wooden notes. Flavour is leathery, caramelly, wheat, some mild citrus as well as some toasted and toffeeish notes. Smooth palate.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Ølværket Selene ].Unclear dark brown color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, light roasted, moderate yeasty, rubber, leather notes, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, rubber, wheat, caramel, sweet yeast - malt. Body is medium, texture is oily - watery, carbonation is soft. [20141227]

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Wildly gushing upon opening, but based on previous experiences with this brewer damage was minimized as it was opened in the bathtub. Murky dark brown, huge head, Acidic rubbery nose with some green apples. Medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Mid sweet with some phenols, green apples, citric acid caramel and rubber. Low bitterness. Trying to think up a reason to finish the glass, but there just are no upsides with this beer.

Bottle. It pours a big, dense, collapsing light beige head over an unclear light brown body. It’s almost puke-like in the nose, with some dried fruits and caramel. Equally uninteresting and almost bad flavor, but it’s more on the yeast side and less puke-like. Some bitterness. Medium body, rather effervescent. Lasting finish. Rather bad this one. 150228
