King William IV. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Mild earthy coffee kicks off. Tangy brown malts and tangy ripe fruits. Touch of chocolate. Light and semi dry finish. Not a bad flavour but the palate was a bit thin and hollow.

Cask at King William IV Bunny Basher; clear dark brown pour with a creamy light tan head, toffee and dark fruit aroma, taste has light toast, autumn leaves, sweet caramel, a hint of hop, and some smokiness.

Keg at King William IV during Bubby Basher 2015. Pours clear brown with a big, dense khaki cream head. Good aroma of toasted malts with accents of burnt grains, cocoa and earth. Light-medium sweet flavor with further toasty brown bread, mellow earthy bitterness, some coffee, burnt leaves, leathery berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balanced n the finish, some tobacco and ash, cocoa, soft roast, grainy toast. Very drinkable, low-impact brown ale.
