Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; chestnut brown pour with a frothy off white head, sweet caramel and nut aroma, taste has red berries, sweet malts, some nutty taste.

Cask at Baxter’s Court, JDW - London. Pours clear amber with a frothy, beige head. The nose holds sweaty berries and brown bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with some ripening berries, hints of leather, teabag, plum. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Moderately sweet on the finish with further berry fruits, light leafy bitterness, grainy bread. Very decent.

Cask at the moon under water Watford JDW. Nice to see a cycling themed beer. The lanterns rouge being the jersey given to the last placed rider in the general classification of the tour de France. Amber red colour with a fleeting cream coloured head. Aroma is toasted malts, sweet sugary berries, toffee apple. Flavour is sweet caramel and brown sugar, blemonge. Palate is sweet and thin with moderate carbonation. Meh.

Cask @ Moon Under Water, Wigan. Glowing deep amber-red with a smooth head. Its aroma is malts with a more complex flavour with hints of spice and grain. Medium bodied.
