Cask at the Rake - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Dry and lightly jammy citrus fruits in the aroma. Tasty stuff, with ripe orange, light pine, soggy leaves, moderate sweetness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly sticky on the finish, with bread, gooey citrus. OK stuff overall. Enjoyable in small doses.

Cask at the Rake. It pours dirty golden-amber with a medium white head. The nose is apricot, peach, yoghurt, nectarine, juicy pine and resin. The taste is soft, peachy, apricot, mango, good deal of bitterness, pine, resin, some alcohol, hay and earth with a dry, damn bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Would liked to have tried this sucker on keg to lift the palate a bit, but its rather tasty nonetheless.

Cask, handpump at The Sportsman, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, Friday 14th February 2014 Pours warm gold slim white head, and much like Brother Rabbit a superb looker. Thick in mouth with a great bittersweet tussle going on. Really good hoppy thrust, quite a contrast when drunk alongside the Brother Rabbit. A long lasting furry fresh hoppy bitterness coats the mouth. Great stuff. A7 A5 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 3/2/2014. Deep gold with a slight white head. Big, hoppy notes of tropical fruit, tangerines and pine, balanced by some solid mlats and leading to a dry finish. Very good.
