RBESG pt 18. Moncada. Grand Tasting. Hazy gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light and dry and crisp. Pleasing floral generic fruits, slightly sour. Light tangerine - pineapple, whisper of lemon. Light dry finish. Very fruity! Nice!

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Woody, with notes of pale bread and lemon. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with lightly tart lemon, dry white bread, white sugar, some wheat. OK. Interesting.

Bottle shared at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste some fruitiness, a bit sweet, a slight sourish fruity touch. Average body and cabonation.

Bottle at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is toasted grain, grassy, mild sweetness and sponge cake. The taste is crisp, light bitter, some alcohol, tart fruits, lemon, apple, pear and candy. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not 100% sure that the tart fruitiness is meant to be there, but I don’t mind it. Alright.

(bottle, 75cl, #0667, the neighbour of the beast) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big but collapsing white foamy head. Beware of the sediment! Mildly grainy and slightly doughy malty aroma with traces of honey and a tinge of vanilla, accompanied by grassy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a slightly sharp carbonation. Slightly grainy pale malty base with hints of grassy hops; mildly oaky malty sweetness towards the finish with shy notes of vanilla, honey and subtle sourish fruity accents; a slightly alcoholic burn is also detectable. Lacks hints of Port; according to its price of 30€ incl. package disappointing. 07.II.14
