Bottled 500ml (BGz, bottled 1.10.2019) Hazy yellow-orange colour, small white head. Grapefruit, tropical NZ fruits, citrus in the nose. Pale malty, slight grain, pine, grapefruit, mango, citrus in the flavour. Ok.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry and smooth, reasonable fine carbonation. Light pale malts bring an equally light sweetness, very thin creamy sweetness. The hops are an I interesting combo. There is the slightly sharp bitterish edge that is common in Kernel beers these days but there is also a mild savoury vibe. Pine and soft skunk and a touch of lime that might be the Kohatu. Soft floral toned citrus underneath. Finishes smooth and a little soft with that spicy bitterness lingering on. Unusual and tasty.

Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy gold orange colour lasting thick off white head. Certainly smells citrus fruity as I poured. it. Orange and lemon sherbet aroma. Really lovely American Pale Ale. Good orange and satsuma flavours. A little sour orange juice towards the end. Pithy and zesty and utterly delicious.

Keg at the Pembury Tavern - Hackney. Pours lightly hazy gold with a small, foamy white head head. Clean citrus character, light juice, mild piney bitterness, balancing pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, with some quenching pithy citrus. Excellent.
