Cask gravity at Planet Thanet 2019. Black beer lasting tan head. Good deep flavoured stout. Rich. Great depth of flavour. Good malt and chocolate and coffee. Loved it. Especially on cask worked so well.

Cask at the Southampton Arms. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting loose dark tan head. Aroma is liquorice, burnt black sugars, mellow woody roast, some singed pine sap, woodland camp fire. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, liquorice on burnt toast, pine sap, burnt sugars, bark,. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, good cask condition.. Really nice depth,

Cask at Common. Pours black with an off white head. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, caramel and a little coffee. Taste is a lovely coffee, chocolate hit. A little caramel in there but a nice roast malt dry finish. Lovely and smooth. Good stuff

Cask. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Clear, very dark, conker brown. Creamy, lasting, lacing, beige head. Nose has praline. Light roast coffee bean. Some dark fruit. Taste is light sweet, with a nutty, roast bitterness. Light body. Low and fine carbonation. Lingering, light bitter finish. Nice one.
