Our 3.8% pale amber summer beer proudly supports the Marine Conservation Society.
Fat Sprat is brewed with Pale Ale malted barley, Munich, Cara and Black malt, with Columbus, English Goldings, Cascade and Chinook hops.
It has a lovely citrus, grapefruit aroma with some spicy notes. On the palate, the citrus character of the hops shines through, balanced with a light biscuit flavour and a crisp, dry finish.

Cask, at the Wharf, Aalborg. It’s a clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, dense off-white head. It’s fruity on the nose, with a touch of malts. A faint meaty touch too. Some roasted malts in the flavor, bread and pale malt notes, with a nice bitterness. Full to medium body, soft carbonation. Lasting mostly fruity finish. An easy drinkable one, but nothing extra-ordinary going on. 150515

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale copper with a ring of loose cream head; fruity malt aroma; bitter orange marmalade taste, rather thin, but with a reasonable woody bitterness; and a dry biscuity finish. A pelasant bitter.

Cask at the Pelt Trader - London. Pours clear amber with a fine, white cream head. Bready malts in the nose, some generic brown bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with more simple brown bread, light earthy bitterness, toast, faint leaves, berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Moderately dry and bready to finish with lightly toasted malts and low bitterness. Simple bitter. Nothing wrong here.
