Spandert av Elise og Endre. Delt med dem og Håvard i Tyrihansveien. Ekstremt mørkebrun. Høyt lysebrunt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Karamellaroma. Smaken julekrydder & kaffe.

Lovely tasty beer at only 4,7%.
Deep nutty color with a fine tan head that last a while. Good lacing also. Nice aroma with a fine intensity. Medium body and a fine smooth carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Roasted, chocolate, pleasant hoppy, some spices and mild fruity flavor.

50cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen. Pours hazy brown with some reddish notes and an off-white head. Hoppy and moderate malty aroma with licorice, some fruity notes, pine, citrus and hints of caramel and roasted malt. Moderate to medium sweet with nice hoppy flavours and a pleasant bitterness. A nice surprise and quite different from the usual to sweet and caramelly Christmas beers in shop strength. Wouldn’t mind more of this. Quite sessionable too.

Bottle. A clear, glowing reddish brown beer topped by a small, dense, light beige head. Biscuity, roasted aroma with citrusy, piney hop pellets. Caramel hints and nutty notes. It’s quite bitter on the palate, with lots of citrusy and piney hops. Roasted malts and some caramel. Full to medium body, quite dry and with a nice carbonation level. Lasting roasted and bitter finish with pine cones and citrus peel. Quite nice this one, but a bit unharmonic. 141220
