On tap at The Pint Shop Oxford. 4.4% Hazy gold Lasting white head. Minty. Settles down a bit. Some over carbonation. Fizzy. Dry. Bit earthy.

Drunk in the Pint Shop, Oxford. It’s gold, with a tiny haze and a big white head which quickly dissipates. Aroma is caramel, malty grain, some honey and freshly baked bread. Tastes slightly sour with a lemony sour aftertaste. Palate a sourness of raw grain and leaves with a sourness of raw grain. Every sip is slightly different but it isn’t great. Not ideal but reasonable. I’ve had worse Kölsches but better Nene Valleys...

Keg at The Pint Shop, Oxford, Saturday 4th March 2017 in the company of John, Ian and Glen. Pours gold with a white head, not that bothered about this one, it’s fruity but weirdly it’s sour, not my thing at all. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov10 2.8
