Unfiltered craft lager with a crisp clean maltiness and a sweet hop aroma. A subtle and refreshing drink.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Drinking this icy cold on a hot and sticky night, having just got in from work. Clear gold. Thin white head. Nose has popcorn. Privet. Toffee. Taste is sweet and toffee like. Mere hint of hop bitterness. Not too clean a mouthfeel. Sticky sweet finish with some harsh bitterness. Not great really.

Keg at the Organ Grinder, Newark. Yellow, clear with some visible carbonation. In other words, a typical lager. Raw husky grain, some artificial sweetener, apples and hay in the aroma. Slightly sickly taste with some bittering hop providing needed balance in the finish. Long sweetish aftertaste. Pretty poor lager from a decent brewery. What's the point?
